Children learn best when they are interested, involved and emotionally secure. Our curriculum is rooted in the EYFS and brought to life through play, conversation, stories, movement, creativity, outdoor discovery and real- life experiences. Practitioners respond to children’s interests while introducing new language, ideas and challenges at the right time.

No two days are exactly the same, but a familiar rhythm helps children feel secure. A typical day includes welcome and settling, child-led play, small-group experiences, snacks and meals, stories and songs, outdoor play, rest or quiet time where appropriate, and opportunities to reflect on learning. Routines are adapted to children’s ages and individual care needs.
Our enclosed outdoor area gives children regular opportunities to move, investigate, take manageable risks and connect with nature. Outdoor experiences support physical confidence, wellbeing, communication and curiosity in all seasons, subject to safe conditions.
We provide balanced and nutritious meals supplied by a specialist childcare catering provider and delivered directly to the nursery. Meals are safely stored, prepared for service and served by our team in accordance with food hygiene requirements. We work closely with families to accommodate children’s allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences. Menus should be displayed here or linked as an accessible PDF, with allergens clearly managed through the nursery’s procedures.
Families receive regular updates through [CONFIRM: Famly], alongside conversations with their child’s key person. We value what parents tell us about learning and experiences at home, and we use this partnership to build a fuller picture of each child’s development.
