Blossom Bay Nursery is a warm and nurturing early years setting in Dagenham. We believe children thrive when

they feel safe, understood and genuinely cared for. Our aim is to provide the comfort of a home-from-home

environment alongside purposeful opportunities to play, explore and learn.

Our approach

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), balancing child-led play with carefully planned adult

guidance. Practitioners observe what captures each child’s interest and use this knowledge to support

communication, physical development, personal and social growth, literacy, mathematics, understanding the

world and expressive arts and design.

Every child has a key person who builds a close relationship with them and their family. This helps us

understand routines, interests, strengths and any areas where extra support may be helpful.

Meet the Blossom Team

Heana Owner, Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Heana brings more than 12 years of early years experience to Blossom Bay Nursery. She is passionate about creating a calm setting where children are known as individuals and families feel genuinely supported. As Owner and Manager, she leads the nursery’s safeguarding, quality and family partnership work.

Creative Play

We believe that children learn best through play, which is why we provide a wide variety of activities that encourage creativity and imagination. Our play areas are designed to be both safe and stimulating, so your child can explore and discover in a fun and secure environment.

Experienced Staff

Our staff are experienced and highly trained in early childhood education, so you can be confident that your child is in good hands. We believe in fostering a warm and nurturing environment, where each child is valued and respected.

We believe that a healthy diet is essential for a child's growth and development, which is why we provide nutritious meals and snacks that are both delicious and balanced. Our menu is designed to meet the dietary needs of children of all ages.
